Day of Silence

2017 GLSEN’s Day of Silence set for April 21

ALERT: Day of Silence is a “day of action in which students across the country vow to take a form of silence to call attention to the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying and harassment in schools.” The 2017 Day of Silence is planned for April 21, 2017, four weeks from today. The “anti-bullying” campaign is sponsored by the national organization, GLSEN, and local GSA clubs. It has also been sponsored by Diversity Clubs and teachers in High Schools and Middle Schools. Ask your principal and superintendent if students will be participating in your school districts. https://www.glsen.org/day-of-silence
