“National Sexuality Education Standards”

In 2011, Planned Parenthood, GLSEN, SIECUS, Advocates for Youth, and many more organizations released “National Sexuality Education Standards”. Comprehensive Sex Education, Anti-Bullying programs, Sexual Abuse Prevention programs, Social-Emotional Learning, and Character Education programs are all used to implement the Standards in public schools. Library books and curricula are being created to reflect the standards.

Get on your school districts School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) to find out what is being implemented in your schools!
